Finding all the programs and codex I needed to download to do anything on my Mac was killing me. I still can't get GimpShop to work.

A/N: This is an alternate scene I eventually chickened out of putting in the main fic due to fear of being burned alive. But then again people are always too young in fiction and, especially in anime, too short. Yoruichi is 156cm? Yeah right. That would make her exactly 1 foot shorter than me. I barely know anyone that short. Ok, I know someone who's 152, but my point is that the stated ages are just as unrealistic as their other features (which we accept without complaint because firstly it's fiction and secondly it's animated) and authors shouldn't be flamed for putting characters who regularly stare death in the face into 'adult situations'.  Differences begin at the ***

Rambling:

When I received this challenge the thought of Tatsuki/Soi Fong struck me as really strange. Then it started to tickle my fancy, after which plot bunnies beware! Those two are my favourite characters from the series (totally underrepresented) and if you think about it they have a lot in common. But being the rabid YoruSoi TatsuHime shipper that I am I couldn’t really dive into the smut. Also to my knowledge the two have never met in cannon so I really had to start at the beginning didn’t I? (I’m making excuses for the length now…)

I’m thinking how can I put together two characters that are both in love with other women, have an age gap from hell, are both really prickly people and who live in different dimensions? The only thing that comes to mind is aliens made them do it.

Well I finally have a little box in which to live. No, not made out of cardboard. A tiny share apartment so small there is no couch, but it's home. And it has a cat.

A short piece, that had to be written because once this particular image entered my head it would not leave. Mostly centred around Kuukaku's cleavage.

My making wallpapers and AMV ambitions have yet to be realised, but I have managed to write a few fics, which I’ll archive here soon. I really both love and hate my Mac. Its wireless ability means that I am able to write this update while sitting in a Homeless shelter, but its frigging incompatibility means I can’t do anything creative on free or pirated software. ‘cries’ I have Russian copies of all the adobe programs sitting in my backpack and can do nothing, NOTHING!

So that bit about where I’m staying. It’s one of those nice Homeless Shelters. I have a room with only three other people and I get fed dinner. The only downside is there are no locks and I think I have to go to Church in the morning. I was looking for a Hostel, really. Then they took my details and gave me a confused look when I asked how much it cost per night.

Just got back from dinner. I was served by Nuns! And there were lots of men with beards. But I fit in cause I had my beanie (furry hat) and puffy jacket. If only I had my Hobo gloves there would have been no difference between us. Apart from the complete lack of facial hair…

Well this is my Journal. When I get some decent online time I plan for something to be here. My aim is to become an ex-lurker and actually start creating some fic, fanart and amvs.

Unfortunately, due to lack of anything as basic as even paint this is difficult. Imagine, todate all my icons have been created in Powerpoint. That is how sad my multimedia capabilities are at the moment. Of course the source of all my pain is Apple, with a bit of I don't want to pay for their nice shiny programs thrown in. All I want for Christmas is the ability to download lots of Unix freeware.

oh, and the ability to install it. You see that ability was optional when installing the operating system, and I of course did not know. I no longer fear the blue screen of death, but the words "Please insert your Tiger OSX installation DVD" Fuckers! (I don't have it do I?)
